Priority Research Areas - Air Quality and Health

Co-operative Studies

Recognising the significant links between air quality and health, EPHC has initiated a process to identify priority areas for co-operative studies with the health sector.

In 2002, EPHC established a working group, with membership drawn from State and Commonwealth agencies and the health sector, to identify priority areas of research into the relationship between air quality and health. The working group has conducted workshops, prepared a discussion paper and held consultation meetings with key stakeholders in major Australian cities.
