What are my responsibilities if I request information?
A proposal will need to be submitted that details:
- Yourself, your organisation and your contact details.
- A brief description why the information is required and what it will be used
for.
Terms and Conditions
- The National Environment Protection Council (NEPC) does not charge for data
downloaded from our website. Requests for data in other forms may need to be negotiated
on an individual basis.
- As a user of NEPC data, you must not match the data to any other information.

collaborator, a separate Data Request should be completed and forwarded to the
NEPC with a request that the addition of this collaborator to the project be considered.
- NEPC has the right to refuse to release data if the Corporation considers
that the data may be used inappropriately, or the user has a conflicting agenda
with the study that would jeopardise its position and programs.
- Publications emanating from data requests must contain the disclaimer “The
opinions expressed in this work are those of the authors only and may not represent
the position or policy of the National Environment Protection Council”.
