This guideline provides general guidance in relation to characterisation of contaminated sites. It aims to ensure consistency in characterisation of potentially contaminated soils, groundwater, vapour and soil gases in order to inform appropriate human health and ecological risk assessment. It should be read in conjunction with other Schedules to the Measure.
