Section 64 of the Commonwealth National Environment Protection Council Act 1994 (NEPC Act) requires that the National Environment Protection Council cause a review of the NEPC Act to be undertaken every five years and tabled in parliament. The third review of the NEPC Act was undertaken in December 2012.
